Learning Area: Literacy - Writing
Learning Observed
Today Nicole was writing with me. She drew her brainstorm picture and then began writing. She wrote her story and then we read it together. We discussed where the full stops needed to be and that she did not need to repeat herself in her story.
Evidence of learning
Nicole’s writing is improving more and more. I wonder if she is practising at home?
Key Competencies/Vision Principles
Nicole is continuing to improve her Capabilities in Writing. She was able to create a story in her head and then record it (Thinking). Nicole was able to settle quickly to write a story by herself (Managing Self). She was able to use many different letters to record sounds (Using Language, Symbols and Texts).

That is wonderful. She is practicing at home, she loves to draw and write. The whole process excites her.
ReplyDeleteThank you for what you do.
